Abstract Submission

Thank you to all authors who have already submitted abstracts for the IOP Nuclear Physics Conference. The organising committee are in the process of reviewing the abstracts and formulating a programme and further information will be sent to the corresponding author by Monday 8 March and also posted online.

Authors are strongly encouraged to read the information below prior to completing the submission process. Please note that authors will receive an email confirmation once the submission process is complete. If you do not receive confirmation, your submission may not have been received and you are advised to contact the organiser.

Abstract Requirement

• submissions for oral and poster contributions are invited
• size: maximum 1 page of A4 (equivalent to 600 words) submitted in PDF or MS Word format.
• figures and references: allowed
• abstract deadline extension: 12 March 2010  
• abstract notification: 26 February 2010

Preparing your abstract

• We recommend that authors use the template provided (Word, 26 KB)
• Authors should read the instructions for preparing your abstract (PDF, 33 KB) prior to submission. Failure to adhere to these instructions may result in your abstract appearing in sub-optimal quality.

Instructions

• authors visiting the site for the first time should create an account. For returning authors, please log on using your e-mail address and password.
• enter relevant details noting that fields denoted with * are mandatory.
• enter your abstract title.
• select your preferred presentation method (oral, poster or either) and whether the work is student work or not.
• enter author details - please note that the main author is considered as the corresponding author.
• browse and upload your file including figures and references and click ok to proceed.
• select 'submit' to complete your submission.

An email confirming your successful submission will be sent to the corresponding author with further information. If you do not receive a confirmation email you may not have fully completed the process. Please email claire.garland_AT_iop.org if you have any questions or are unable to submit your abstract online.
